About us - our history

Founded in 2020, Dreams of Hope is a grassroots non profit organization that serves Venezuela's most vulnerable - the children.

Born out of necessity,  our initiative was simple: help those affected by the most devastated social and economical crisis in Venezuela's history. It was clear, our presence proved to be a staple in the community.

From there, our hearts were set ablaze. We knew we needed to do more for our people in Maracaibo, Venezuela. In the short time of our organization, we are working to close the food gap in the region, provide clothing for children to attend school in confidence, equip little learners with school supplies, and provided a host of other necessities and relief.

What we have accomplished thus, far is the direct result of our dedicated and diligent team of volunteers  and made possible because of generous donors, like yourselves, that help us meet the need.

“Empathy is the ability to understand

the feelings of another, here are

       children dealing with hunger,

     poverty, and desperation in my

country of Venezuela. It’s our job to

support, inform, and advocate, this is

                     why I volunteer.”

"My mission with Dreams of Hope is

to empower all those little girls and help them grow to be great leaders.

I want them to know that the are

        capable of changing their

  communities, their city and even

their country is they want to. The biggest challenge is giving them an

       education to become strong,

       independent and successful

                          women."
